Eco Driver Training
Saving Fuel + PLUS + Excellent Performance
At Priority Driver we provide “approved eco driving training”. It’s about physics, mechanics and most importantly giving a 17% boost to your mpg while producing excellent performance, not driving like a snail or saving the whales (though that’s a bonus). The techniques can be taught in 60 mins, which in terms of figures means:
£35 in training = 17% less on fuel x lots of years = £££
In the last decades, engine technology and the performance of cars have improved rapidly, while most drivers have not adapted their driving style. Eco-driving represents a driving culture that suits modern engines and makes the best use of advanced vehicle technologies. Eco-driving offers numerous benefits, including GHG emissions reductions, fuel cost savings, as well as greater safety and comfort.
We use scientific techniques to coach your driver’s anticipation of traffic flow, gear changes and planning to achieve an improved mpg of around 17% without any loss in performance.
As this only takes 60 minutes of each driver’s time it enables us to coach up to 8 of your drivers in one day.
The cost of the training £35 per driver (£12.50p paid for by the EST subsidy). The rewards are fuel savings of circa £300 per driver.
*Minimum of 10 drivers needed to conduct the course.
Other benefits include:
- Reduced wear and tear on your vehicles,
- Reduced risk of your employees being involved in a collision,
- Lower insurance premiums,
- Lower level of stress behind the wheel
- This training will also count towards managing your occupational road risk and will form a good proportion of your “Duty of Care”
In summary:
At Priority Driver we provide “approved eco driving training”. “Eco driving” or “ecodriving” means energy efficient use of vehicles to reduce fuel consumption from road transport so that less fuel is used to travel the same distance, saving you on fuel and vehicle maintenance, which in turn means profit for your business. From sole traders driving to clients or the office, to entire fleets travelling across the country, the savings are just a phone call away: 01449 616711 or 07770 936682.
Some recent feedback from a course run for West Suffolk Councils, as part of their clean air day.
From the feedback forms, all staff would recommend the session and found it useful and were surprised by how much fuel they could save by making the small changes! “Made me think more about the process of driving and allowed me to think more about my approach to driving” and “I hope I will now improve, given the tips I have picked up”.
